This konjac sponge is made from the the root of a konjac plant, making it much more sustainable than plastic sponges or sponges made from living creatures, like a natural sea sponge. The sponge is naturally hard, we recommend softening your sponge with water before use. This will soften it up for gentle cleansing. Then allow to dry out naturally after each use.
It’s beautifully gentle, even soft enough for babies. It’s also great for applying your face washes and cleansers and can even be used for removing make up.
Instead of wringing out your sponge allow it to dry naturally. It comes with a hanging loop, so that it can be hung up to dry. As with any sponge, you should replace every 2 – 3 months. It is both is biodegradable and compostable. Making it a really good swap for the environment. Great value for money and great for the planet!
