Our bereavement book campaign is focused on providing a copy of our childhood bereavement book ‘About Hedgehog’ to primary schools to support the new RSHE grief and bereavement curriculum. We know the power of books in helping children understand the world around them and grief is no different. A gentle book, using the right language for young children to support them in developing an understanding of death and dying.
It is estimated that 127 children are bereaved every day in the UK, children who need support and to feel less alone. By opening up conversations around death with all children, we can help them to process what it means before, during and after bereavement. Through our book we support Grief Encounter – child bereavement charity with a percentage of sales.

In a world that often feels rushed and wasteful I’m aiming to create something in the right way, something that makes a positive change, and that lasts long enough to be returned to again and again.
