Children’s bereavement box

Description

Supporting children going through bereavement is so important and helping them feel less alone, which is why we’ve created this beautiful children’s bereavement box. It’s full of useful gifts to help children process their grief and the emotions that this will bring up.

Included in the children’s bereavement box:

• Our award winning bereavement book ‘About Hedgehog’ and book wrap – helping to open conversations with the grown ups around them
• Grief journal – helping children find a space to share their thoughts and feelings when they might not have the words
• Emotions posters and cards – two sets of each to help support them in recognising the range of emotions they’ll be feeling
• Worry notes – a place for them to jot down worries and to then be able to share these with others
• Hedgehog felt decoration to remind them that it’s okay to talk to others and to take a moment when you need to

We know it can be difficult to know what to send a grieving child, and how hard it can be to talk about what’s going on. Through our gift box we have carefully curated gifts which we know will help children explore the deep emotions that bereavement brings and helps to show that the gifter is thinking of them.

Gifts can be added to the box and if it is for a family we can add extra grief journals or other items – please simply add these to your order and let us know you’d like it sending together. We also include a box wrap and gift card, so we can write the message for you and send directly to them. Items can also be purchased individually.
