Writing Campaign

We’re beyond excited to bring you our new writing campaign!

Based on our latest book ‘Oceans Away’ and our first book ‘Away’ we’re encouraging all schools, preschools, nurseries and homeschoolers to get involved in writing their own stories highlighting environmental issues, how we deal with waste, recycling or anything to do with sustainability. We want children to get as creative as they can to write, draw or describe their own stories! Let’s get talking about sustainability and encourage a love of reading and writing in our young children. We want to engender a level of literacy and learning as well as taking care of our planet.

We have downloadable writing templates and illustration templates which can be found on our ‘Oceans Away’ book page (simply scroll down to find them) for children to use (we also welcome entries in audio or video format where appropriate).

Stories can be scanned or photographed and sent in to us via email: info@eco-able.co.uk

Physical copies can be sent to our address: Eco-Able, 8 Silver Street, Cirencester, GL7 2BL.

Please bear in mind that any physical entries will not be able to be returned, so sending in copies is best if you would like to keep the original.

We will select our favourites to feature on the website (permission must be sought from parents for this) and all entries featured on the website will receive a signed copy of our original storybook ‘Away’ for their setting.

All featured entries will then be put into a draw for a chance to win a ‘meet the author’ visit at the end of the year to their school, preschool or nursery (homeschoolers welcome to enter as well and will also be entered into the draw for a ‘meet the author’ visit)

We cannot wait to read and hear your stories!
